New direct flight connections established to reach LPG

Definitely the easiest way to travel to Lapland Proving Ground and reach Muonio are the direct seasonal flights to Kittilä Airport (KTT) that are available from several European cities during the winter months.
Some of the routes are also operated around the year and there are several new connections established for the winter season 2024-2025. The drive from Kittilä airport to Muonio is less than 1 hour, with airport shuttle connections also available.

You can expect direct flights from these European cities operated by the following airlines:

Hamburg                                     Eurowings
Düsseldorf                                  Eurowings
Frankfurt                                    Discover Airlines
Zürich                                         Edelweiss
Wien                                            Austrian Airlines
München                                     Lufthansa
Milano                                         EasyJet
Paris                                            EasyJet, Air France, Transavia France
Geneva                                       Swiss Airlines
Gatwik                                        EasyJet UK
Manchester                               EasyJet UK

If a direct flight isn’t available from your specific location, the most common route would be to fly via Helsinki (HEL). A domestic flight to Kittilä takes around 1.5 hours and there are several flights per day available.

In case the flight schedules to Kittilä are inconvenient, you can also check flights to Rovaniemi (RVN), another major airport in Finnish Lapland. From Rovaniemi, it’s about 3-hour drive to Muonio.

1000V 240kW EV charging now available

Our off season has been quite thrilling this year! Summer holidays were great and much needed, but before and after that a lot has happened on the tracks and especially with our charging infra.

Now we can offer you 240kW with up to 1000 volts!

Our current charging possibilities are:

  • 1000V 240kW CCS2 2 spots
  • 400V 150kW CCS2 2 spots
  • 400V 50kW CCS2 or CHAdeMo 1 spot
  • 22kW Type 2 AC 3 spots

The 240kW will be divided equally between the two spots if two cars are connected, but if you want to test the peak charging power make sure you’re plugged in with one car at a time.

The 150kW chargers work independently always giving out the maximum available. On the 50kW charger you can choose either CCS2 or CHAdeMo connector according to your need.

It’s something old, something new, nothing borrowed and the sky is blue 😉
