Do you want to combine the latest automotive technology with the best and most diverse winter activities? With decades of experience, we carry out vehicle testing for the world’s leading car manufacturers in the unique winter of Finnish Lapland and we are now looking for new professionals to join our team!

In this project we work in direct cooperation with the product development departments of German car factories and mainly carry out endurance testing on the latest automotive technology. We are looking for project engineers for our client company, focusing on

a) automotive electrical technology and assistance systems

b) mechanical automotive technology

c) battery electric vehicle (BEV) technology

d) IT systems and data collection systems (datalogger management).

Tasks include directing and supervising automotive testing, managing work with testing personnel, and analyzing and reporting test results. In the task, you will act as a contact for the manufacturers product development organization in your own area of ​​responsibility and communicate the test results to the customers reporting system. The task description can be modified according to the applicant’s strengths.

The workplace is located in Muonio, less than an hour’s drive from Kittilä Airport.
The vibrant center of Muonio and its surroundings offer a variety of educational, shopping and health services. For those who enjoy the fell scenery, there is a lot to see and experience less than an hour’s drive away at the Olos, Pallas, Levi and Ylläs fells. For us, age and experience are not a burden in any position. Neither is the lack of it.

We require from you:

– Knowledge of automotive technology or other technology (more detailed requirements with different emphasis can be found below).
– You are fluent in Finnish and English as working languages. In addition, knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
– You have excellent IT skills.
– You have good organizational skills.
– Learning new technologies and working independently as part of a team comes naturally to you.

In addition, you have

a) Automotive Electrical Engineering:

– Education in electrical or automotive electrical engineering (Di, Eng, UAS) or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
– Experience and competence in automotive electrical engineering and assistance systems is a significant advantage

b) Vehicle Engineering:

– Technical education in automotive engineering (Di, Eng, UAS) or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
– Experience and competence in chassis, engine and transmission technology

c) Battery electric vehicle (BEV):

– Education in electrical or automotive electrical engineering (Di, Eng, UAS) or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
– Experience and competence in hybrid and battery electric vehicle technology is a significant advantage

d) IT and Data Acquisition Systems:

– Technical education (Di, (engineer, Bachelor of Science) or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
– Systematic and analytical working method
– Experience and knowledge of quality assurance procedures and automotive technology is a significant advantage
